This episode provide everything you need to enjoy Running Man, the game is revolutionary *even though the concept of one of the game is escalated from toys* but it’s the perfect getaway from complicated life. The ultimate mission is quite simple, the cast which coupled with several beautiful guest such as Hani EXID, Jung So-Min, Nam Ji Hyun, Yeon So Hee and Yerin from Gfriend have to guess which object is going to float *the object with the lowest density*. The couple concept race have been tried several time but this time provide another sensation for me because of the new game applied in this episode especially the pop-up pirate.

It’s Lee Kwang Soo special story who has just moved to his new home, and as the only member who lives alone, the member forcefully having a party in his house and forcibly expose every corner of Lee Kwang Soo’s house. The concept of Prank Camera is upgraded in this episode, as the members have to make Kwang Soo think that he won until the end of the race. The most epic part of the episode is the live report directly from Kwangsoo’s home where Jae Suk and Suk Jin interview Kwang Soo’s feeling on being fooled by all the other member.
4 Episode 251
The next Best Running Man Episodes is Episode 251. This episode adopt a bit mature theme and concept of being a couple, rather than being jumping around couple this episode provide us on how adult couple really is. It’s kinda boring for viewer around the age of under 17 but for young adult or even adult, this episode is one of the most romantic in the history of Running Man. Byul – Haha’s wife – is making her appearance on the episode which indirectly shift the flow of the couple race. I love how the ending goes and TBH it can’t get any better than this. Plus you can see Song Joong Ki and Jo In Sung is having a cameo on this episode.

Typical fresh summer concept Running Man episode. I love this episode as the guest depict the summer condition perfectly. The opening part where the member have to sit in front of their couple and separated by curtain is the most hilarious one for me. Because as the guest is being revealed one by one which all of them are the member of idol group the last is thought going to be the “jjang” one but to provide twist, the PD coupled Lee Kwang Soo *who sit at the very end of the table* with comedian Lee Gok Joo. The game inside the bowl is the highlight of this episode, hilariously entertaining.
6 Episode 265
This episode proof how editing is important in the process of creating a good variety show. The concept was a bit dull for me, because the guest wasn’t very good in combining with the cast, but the idea and good editing help save the episode. The guest who was all “genius” and the cast was send to inhabitant island to finish mission of completing their name tag BUT the real mission was to fool Gary until the end of recording. Gary at that time was supposed to finish his last song in order to released his next album the next day. The episode might provide a bit less laughter but you can learn a lot about how to perfectly enunciate idea to the viewer.
7 Episode 267
This episode is the zenith or the epitome of Running Man cast capabilities, chemistry, and passion by providing the most up and down episode in the history of the show. The member prove that they really are one of the best cast in the K-Variety world. The mission was super simple, “complete 3 missions unanimously to escape from the confinement”. Never have I ever feel bored during this episode even though the member didn’t move location and play rather simple game. I guess seeing the members synchronize and harmonize can also bait attention from the viewer.
8 Episode 270
The concept is really good in this episode! So throughout the episode the world where the member have to finish their mission is so weird, there is a world for giants, dwarfs, and the most exciting is the labyrinth. The cast have to finish the race individually and during their time in the labyrinth, they can’t be caught by the mysterious figure’s subordinates who is the mastermind behind all the missions in this episode! Recommended to the max.
9 Episode 316
Inspired by Gong Yoo’s film “Train to Busan”, this episode is taking the theme of “Train to Prison”. Where it told the story of all members who is a criminal which are heading the prison. During the journey to the jail there are games that can make them free so they don’t need to go to prison. The games throughout the episode are actually all group effort, but they will be tested to betray the others by escaping individually. At the end, Ji Hyo proves her strength as “Goddess of Luck” once again.
10 Episode 324
Heartbreaking but funny episode. This is the episode where Gary part ways with Running Man. I know that it’s not as funny as the other episode is, but seeing the member reaction, their pure action and the context in which the episode is build on is making every avid Running Man fans could agree that this episode is one of the most unforgettable one. The PD and writers of the show flawlessly create the perfect game for the episode such that you can feel the emotion roller-coaster during the whole time.
11 Episode 8
This episode is considered as the cornerstone of Running Man way toward success, because they are at that time still newbie in variety world, the PD and writer keep on changing the concept and the member, but “Running Ball” concept is the first successful hook from Running Man in fishing attention from the viewer. There are literally plenty of moment where you are going to be laughing out loud. This episode also shows the embarrassing past of each member which by itself quite funny *I swear moment from Ji Suk Jin old video really crack me up*. AH during this episode you can also see the first romance spark between Monday Couple.
12 Episode 38 – Yoomes Bond
This is the first time Running Man shows their capability in utilizing their chemistry between the member, Yoo Jae Suk plays vital role in getting this episode as interesting as possible *which reflect his capabilities as national MC*. Yoo Jae Suk also earn this nickname Yoomes Bond from this very episode. His panic reaction after eliminating every member is so funny especially when Jae Suk try to eliminate “the pure” Gary.
13 Episode 60 – True Gary Show
Gary is taking “pure character” during his time with Running Man, and due to that character he is almost always be exempted from being in 1 vs 7 mission. Finally the PD agree to give him a chance, but my oh my Gary was tricked by the production staff. All the other member already knew that Gary is going to be the spy so the stake was heavier for other member for keeping their mouth shut and have to give their best reaction to Gary’s sloppy spy action. The ending still problematic for several fans, as it shows that Gary was leaving the building with big smile as if he knew that he was tricked.
14 Episode 74 – Merry Merry Christmas Special – Super Powers
This is the epitome of laughing stock in Running Man Episode, clearly one of the most hilarious moments in Running Man. during this episode the member was given different super powers which led them to be rather very careful in eliminating other member. The moment when Haha was eliminated change their perception and that was the start of huge fight between the members. 15 Episode 137 – Princess and Fool Ondals
You literally can’t hold your laugh during the time you watch this episode, the joke was short but comes up exactly when it needed so the timing was nothing but perfect for this episode. The male member have to become fool boy and group up with princess which of course include Sayeon Nuna. The interaction between Gary and Jihyo is especially sweet during episode. And of course Kwangsoo is the best at acting fools.
16 Episode 141 – Animal Kingdom
This episode have a proper thorough concept with every little detail is taken care of, this episode really prove the teamwork of writer, PD and the cast goes on perfectly smooth. The concept was well thought and the execution by the member is perfect. This very episode even become the sketch concept in which Line and SBS are working together to create animation series for kids.
17 Episode 163 – Stealing Princess Jihyo’s Heart
This episode is getting on our list because of Big Bang, it’s rare to see Big Bang member especially GD to be wrestling and struggling in the mud. It’s satisfying to see the human side of Big Bang. The three member of Big Bang – Daesung, Seungri, and G-Dragon- team up with male member of Running Man to stole Princess Jihyo’s Heart through variety of game and challenge. The image of classy and luxury of Big Bang is round up 360 during this episode and you can clearly see how humble the famous stars could be.
18 Episode 213 – It’s Okay, I’m Chaebol
As vivid Running Man fans who follow and watch them every single week, I am quite skeptic when I saw the guest that came on this episode, yes I know they are visually good and enchanting but this is variety show. With skeptic mind I try to give it a shot with no prejudice, but boy I’ve never been this wrong all my life. The cast blend perfectly with the actresses who was famous for their antagonist character, the actresses even go out of lenght during several time throughout the episode. This episode is the most balance one as you can enjoy the visual *they are all beautiful* and their effort in creating funny moment is also entertaining.
19 Episode 216 – Running Heroes
The episode where the member became Avenger is a bit disappointing, but the production staff try the similar concept in this one, Running Heroes where the member became super hero which lost their super power and have to accomplish several task before the could get back their super power abilities. The peak of amusing on this episode is during courage test *spoiler alert*. Really one of the funniest episodes of all time Running Man.
20 Best Running Man Episodes : Episode 225 – The Last Case
During this episode the member plus guest divided into three group but, inside the group there are spy team which consisted of Kim Woobin and Lee Kwang Soo. It’s silly combination and they perfectly create whimsical moment throughout the episode while trying to stay hidden from the other member. The plot twist makes this episode enter our list plus the silly face challenge which got me every time I re-watch this episode.
