Божественная сборка

The Best Teams In AFK Arena

In this guide here I want to show you several team builds in AFK Arena that work really well and will give you an additional boost.

I know that you likely don’t have all the heroes but you can also use this as a strategy to plan which heroes you’re going to level up and ascend.

Updated the tems with the current meta!

Best Campaign Team (PvE) In AFK Arena *UPDATED*

Here you will have the best-working current teams for campaign that will work. Even if you’re not even close to Campaign 30, make sure to keep those formations in mind to already start priritizing these heroes to have them ready when you need them

All of these teams work right now, they are not in any particular ranking!

Thoran Cheese

The most popular end-game PvE team with the main objective of gathering all enemies around Thoran and let his ultimate shred them. Pippa and Lyca are really useful to gather more energy and haste to make Thoran ult faster.

As for the substitution heroes, use them according to the use case:

Make sure to have the Call artifact equipped on Thoran and the other heroes should wear their optimal artifact (more about the best artifacts here)

This team works practically without any level deficit and you only need to focus your effort on Thoran instead of building multiple heroes with furniture and Signature item

Alna Graveborn

With the insane damage that Grezhul deals at 9/9 he only needs to stay alive to make this team work really well. With Daimon as backline tank and also DPS and Silas as healer and buffer and Tasi for crowd control you will have a very stable team setup.

Charmizard

Watch the enemies take each other out with this setup that resolves around Mehira using her charm. Chaining that up is all this team is about and although the investment into the Hypogean faction is heavy, the team is one of the most reliable end-game. Set Rosaline to follow Mehira!

Having Mehira and Khazard Signature Item +30 will help a lot, although it’s not required to make this setup work…

Lucretia Cheese

A really popular team setup in eng-game in AFK Arena right now. This team is quite accessible for low-spender as the investment is only really needed for Lucretia. This team only exists to let Lucretia do her thing and most heroes die in the first seconds. Can beat high level deficits.

Ainz Composition

This team only want to let Ainz deal his ultimate and wreck the enemy team, buffing him up and keeping him alive as long as possible.

This team is super strong because Ainz will simply burn anything to ashes if you let him do his work, simple as that. The downside is that you will need Ainz and Albedo with +30 Signature item and also at least Ainz 9/9 furniture items (Albedo helps as well but 3/9 is alright with her as well). This team scales forever, is super flexible and useful in pretty much any game mode (Tower, PvP, Voyage of Wonders, Trials of God…) and ignoring that you need the heroes for it, the best option out there when looking at the brute force of the team.

QUEEN Five Pull

Eironn pulls enemies and Skriath’s 3/9 furniture effect will deal with them with perfect AoE synergy.

You need to invest into Eironn +30 Signature Item and at least unlocking his 3/9 furniture bonus. Skriath, as mentioned, will also need at least 3/9 furniture bonus and maxing his Signature Item as well really helps. This team is really nice because it’s extremely flexible and never falls off. The only weak spots are enemy teams with huge burst damage and also enemies with heroes like Tasi or Flora that reposition themselves can be squishy to deal with.

Teams Until Chapter 30

These teams here are standard teams for the mid-game but won’t really work higher than Chapter 30

Lucius does the shield and Rowan the healing while Fawkes take out one of the enemy heroes and helps breaking through a shield when you face a lineup with another Lucius. Ferael helps keeping the enemy energy level lower and when Shemira uses her ultimate you normally get the enemy team down. Problem with this lineup is that higher Chapter 30 Shemira will just not deal enough damage anymore to get the enemies down.

This lineup here works as well really well with Rosalina getting Belinda to use her ultimate twice for a high burst damage while Fawkes take out one enemy and Lucius keeps a shield on your team and Rowan supports with potions and buffing.

Best PvP Teams

I always update this list based on the recent Legend’s Champion Season by usage and win rate of the teams.

This is currently the most successful PvP team with highest win rate. Also quite alright to build actually with decent amount of “normal heroes” and Ezizh from the Challenger Store. You have plenty of healing from Talene and Rowan and Ezizh + Tasi shut down the enemy team pretty well.

Super viable team with Talene that can’t die and keeps getting stronger and healing all the time. Orthros can take out several enemies and reduce their haste while using his freezing effect. Athalia can easily snipe out one enemy while Farael does reduce the enemy energy generation and Nara will also snipe another backline here.

Also a team really nasty to deal with and 4 heroes that will stand up really long so Flora can deal a ton of damage in the meantime

This is an alternative for the meta PvP team relying on Ezizh in combination with the Twins and Rowan to cycle his silencing all the time and shut down the enemy team all the time so they can’t use their ultimates.

Possible Alternatives here:

This setup relies on Eironn pulling enemies together into Safiyas burst to take them all out at once while Tasi uses crowd control and Layca buffing everyone. Nemora can be really important for the passive healing and might even get her ultimate healing through. Big bang burst can be really effective in PvP as well.

This is also a hit-and-run team setup for PvP with Eironn dragging enemy heroes together and Lorsan with Lyca buffing a lot on Gwyneth with the connection and raw stat buff so she can take out most of them at once. Zolrath can be really annoying for the enemy when resetting the battle completely unless the enemy team takes him out fast, which is really hard. oftent times they need to fight that setup more than once and fail.

Best Challenger Teams (F2P)

For those of you who are F2P and don’t have a roaster full of Celestial, Hypogean and Dimensional heroes, here are team setups that I highly recommend for Challenger Mode:

This teams works really well with Eironn draggin all enemies together and Tasi putting them asleep. With Rowan you have healing and buffing as well as the haste buff from Lyca to get your ultimates off fast, where Eironn will take down the enemies with his ultimate. Ferael works well in casting shadows that will suppress the enemies’ ultimates

Another setup you can use for Challenger Tournament to boost your hourly income which is also quite F2P friendly (Talene from Stargazing, Wu Kong from Labyrinth Store and Athalia from Challenger Store) is this one here:

This team setup works nice with insane amount of direct backline damage. You have Nara who will pull her opposite enemy, Athalia going after her opposite enemy while Ferael suppresses the enemy energy generation. Wu Kong will cast multi copies and Talene keeps everyone alive at an insane rate. This is the best F2P setup you can get right now.

Best Faction Tower Setups

The Faction Tower requires you to build and use setups with one faction only, which can be tricky. These setups here worked best for most players and you can use mercenaries well here to get strong heroes that you haven’t ascended much so far.

Lightbearer Tower

This team makes most sense with Lucius as the tank with providing shield, Rowan hitting up healing and the energy boost from his Signature Item. Fawkes takes out one enemy and makes sure to remove enemy buffs and Rosalina and Belinda will do the double-burst damage that normally win the fight when they get through with it.

Mauler Tower

Brutus with his last stance ability is one of your tanks and makes sure to survive and also takes out summoned things with lower hitpoints. Safiya will make sure to get a high burst on the enemy teams and Skreg can make a nice secondary tank with his knockback. For damage you can choose whatever Maulers you have, I personally like Skriath for his sandstorm and Khasos/Vurk for nice damage output from the back

Wilders Tower

Tasi is mandatory for crowd control, otherwise you can get smacked really hard by some setups. Eironn is a nice damage dealer and drags enemies together and you can either take Nemora for healing or Lyca for the buffs. With Wilders you have a little problems getting solid tanks so use the ones you have ascended the most. Seirus and Ulmus are my choices but Grovo can also work.

Graveborn Tower

Thoran and Grezhul should be your tanks in the first line and Shemira will be the hero that deals the damage and needs to get her ultimate off in the Graveborn Tower. Best choice now is using Ferael to reduce enemy energy generation and Nara as she can snipe a backline here.

Best Guild Hunting Teams *UPDATED*

Standard Wrizz Team

There are basically two main setups that people run to get the best scores against Wrizz in end-game.

Meta End-Game Team #1

This is the main team, with Warek and Saurus in the frontline you have Warek interrupting and Saurus dealing massive damage. With the backline heroes you will buff your team so basically Saurus will go berserk. Rosaline is set to follow Saurus to pump up his ultimate. Run this setup at auto battle so the link of Warek works right and it does.

Artifacts: run Warek and Saurus with Chaos Bringer, Raine with Eye, Twins with Call and Rosaline with Blade – more on the artifacts here.

Signature Items & Furniture: You NEED to have Raine at 3/9 furniture bonus to get that 30% damage buff on Wrizz. It will stay until the end of the battle and is absolutely vital for running this setup. If you don’t have it, run the next team below.

Meta End-Game Team #2

Belinda and Saurus are in the frontline and Wrizz will focus on Saurus. The rest of the team will buff, including Belinda with her Blessing that will give Saurus a nice boost.

Artifacts: run Belinda and Lorsan with Eye, Saurus with Chaos Bringer, Twins with Call and Rosaline with Blade – more on the artifacts here.

Signature Items & Furniture: No prerequisites needed as you would with the team above. The more you have the better and having Saurus at SI +30 and furniture 9/9 helps a lot keeping your team and him alive.

Standard Soren Team

Here’s the team that works best on the top lists right now:

You have Saurus in the frontline who will carry dealing the damage and also taking the charm. The rest of the team, Rosaline following Saurus, will buff and keep the damage as much up as possible.

Artifacts: run Saurus with Chaos Bringer, Rosaline with Blade, Mortas with Tidebearer, Twins with Call and Raine with Eye – more on the artifacts here.

Signature Items & Furniture: You NEED to have Saurus at Signature Item +30 or he won’t stand a chance. Also Raine should have the 3/9 furniture bonus that will make her buff the team damage by 30% until the end of the battle.

Best Twisted Realm Boss Teams

Grotesque Mage *NEW*

There’s only one main team setup that really works for the Grotesque Mage:

You can only use ultimate skill 5 times, so turn auto-ult off and use your 5 ultimates with Saurus! Saurus will deal the main part of the damage while Grezhul will be tank and damage dealer as well. The backline will be with Lyca, Twins and Raine primarily for buffing (and debuffing the boss).

The very best lineup to run here will be this one:

As you know, Kane will kill one enemy after 15 seconds, 40 seconds and 65 seconds. With Talene in your team you should turn auto off and slam her ability to get her killed first. After that, you can turn auto on for the whole team and see a decent damage overall. With your Talene upgraded well enough, you can even get her killed every single time and keep your whole team.

Alternative setup if you don’t have Talene:

Without Talene you need to have two solid damage dealer in your team as one of them will get killed after 15 seconds into battle. Running Shemira and Belinda works alright here. Turn auto attack off for the first 15 seconds and manually use ultimate on the weaker one (either Shemira or Belinda) to get them killed first.

Demonic Entity

Shemira is vital here and with Rosalina following her the mandatory setup. Rowan will heal some and buff and the twins also do their job. Estrilda as tank is also working well here because she also deals some nice damage and makes the faction buff complete.

The Unhinged

The most powerful team lineup will be:

This is the brute force strategy that simply bypasses the shield of the boss with Saurus and Grezhul dealing a ton of damage. This is simply about damage output and works best right now. Rowan can interrupt abilities.

Ice Shemira

Her strong area of effect damage is really tough and Ezizh as a main key here to have to deny her ability.

The strongest team setup is:

Ezizh will suppress Ice Shemiras ability while the Twins can dispell her debuff. Saurus and Grezhul will deal massive damage along with the interruption of Warek you have a great setup to get a nice score against her. Put Ezizh in the backline to avoid him catching her Ice Beam.

Burning Brute

The Burning Brute was one of the squishiest bosses so far but it looks like the developers finally got him right.

Here’s the best team lineup to use:

Izold will be the main damage dealer while Talene keeps everyone alive as long as possible. The twins normally die along with Grezul around mid-battle but that’s no problem. Daimon also stays alive with his Blood Shield and snowballs as well.

Conclusion

So, this is my personal best team builds that I’ve tested for a long time and saw the best results with – I know that most heroes are not that easy to get but if you focus on them they will bring you a lot of joy in the future 🙂

Белинда и Шемира — всего лишь маги с низким потенциалом и высокими инвестициями, которых превзошли вышеупомянутые герои.
